✨ Auto Edit: turn several clips into one videoClip Forge measures your clips, picks the best moments, opens on a hook and cuts on the beat. You can change every cut.
Add two or more clips. They stay on this device.
🪞 Talk to yourself: two takes, one frameFilm yourself on one side of the sofa talking, then on the other side answering. Clip Forge joins the two takes so there are two of you.
- Put the camera on a tripod or prop it up. Don't move it between takes, and keep the light the same.
- Take 1: sit on one side and say your line, then stay still and "listen" for as long as the answer will take.
- Take 2: sit on the other side, wait, then answer. Don't cross the middle of the picture.
- Making a TikTok, Reel or Short? Film upright, so you both fit in a tall picture.

Play the video on the right and pause where you want each point, then click "Use current position".
Cropping is centered on the frame.
Stack more video, pictures and text over your clip, each on its own track. Move and trim them on the timeline under the preview, animate them with keyframes, and give the whole video a colour grade.
The top of the list is drawn on top. Pick a track (or the main video) to change its timing, blend, transitions and keyframes.
No grade yet. Adjustments are applied from top to bottom, so their order changes the result.
✓ Free to use — shares a limited daily capacity. Switch to OpenAI/Anthropic above with your own key if it stops working.
Timing is measured in the final exported video (after trimming and speed changes).
No text overlays added.
Rendering happens in real time in your browser (a 20-second clip takes about 20 seconds, divided by your chosen speed) — nothing is uploaded. Most desktop browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) support this; Safari's support is limited. Got several clips to stitch together, or slides to combine with one? Try Merge Forge.
Upload straight to YouTube
This is a public identifier for your own Google Cloud project, not a secret — see the setup steps below. Clip Forge only sends it to Google, never anywhere else.
One-time setup: get a Google OAuth Client ID (click to expand)
- Go to the Google Cloud Console, create (or pick) a project, and enable the YouTube Data API v3.
- Under APIs & Services → OAuth consent screen, set it up as "External", add the
youtube.uploadscope, and add your own Google account under "Test users" (this avoids needing Google's full app-verification review, since only you will use it). - Under APIs & Services → Credentials, create an OAuth client ID of type "Web application". Add the exact URL this page is running at (e.g.
https://your-username.github.io) under "Authorized JavaScript origins". - Copy the generated Client ID (it ends in
.apps.googleusercontent.com) into the field above. - Click "Connect Google account" and approve access — Google will warn that the app is unverified, which is expected for a personal project; click through as the test user you added.
If any step here fails or your browser blocks the upload, you can always fall back to downloading the video file above and uploading it manually at studio.youtube.com.
