Make a real song with singing from a sentence, pick a mood for an instant free track, or build your own beat in the Tracker.
🎤 AI songs are made by Google’s Lyria music AI with your own Gemini key. Your words go straight from this browser to Google; MigaBuilder never sees them or your key. No key? The Quick presets and Tracker tabs make free music with no key at all.
Google requires you to be 18 or older to create and use a Gemini API key.
Tip: Ctrl + Enter (⌘ + Enter on a Mac) makes the song. A clip takes about 20–40 seconds, a full song up to 2 minutes. No key or budget? 🎵 Make music is free and instant.

🔑 How to get your own Gemini key (step by step)
A Gemini API key is a password-like code from Google that lets this page ask Google’s music AI (Lyria) for songs on your own account. The same key works in Picture Forge and in every MigaBuilder AI tool.
Open aistudio.google.com/apikey and sign in with any Google account (the one you use for Gmail or YouTube works).
Accept Google’s terms if it asks.
Press Create API key. If it asks for a project, pick the suggested one or press Create project.
Press Copy. The key is a long code that usually starts with AIza.
Back here, paste it in step 6 and press Test.
Turn on billing for music. Google’s music models have no free tier. In AI Studio open Usage & billing (or follow Google’s billing guide) and link a billing account to the key’s project. New Google Cloud accounts often get free trial credit.
Smart extra step: set a budget alert in Google Cloud Billing (for example 5 USD) so Google emails you before you spend more than planned.
Is it safe? The key goes straight from your browser to Google, never to MigaBuilder. Unless you tick Remember, it is forgotten when you close the tab. Anyone with your key can spend on your account, so don’t share it. If it leaks, delete it on the same API keys page and create a new one.
⬇ How to download your song
When the song is ready, press ⬇ Download MP3 for a small file that plays everywhere (phones, cars, WhatsApp, video editors).
Press ⬇ Download WAV for an uncompressed file, best for further editing in Audio Forge or a music program. It is about ten times bigger.
On a computer the file goes to your Downloads folder. On an iPhone or iPad tap Download in the pop-up and find it in the Files app. On Android it goes to Downloads.
📋 Copy lyrics copies the words the AI sang, for a video description or a lyric sheet.
Earlier songs stay under Your recent songs in this browser; press ▶ to hear one again or ⬇ to download it.
Google adds an inaudible SynthID watermark to every AI song so it can be recognised as AI-made. You can’t hear it.
In that folder run python3 -m http.server 8000 and open http://localhost:8000/music-forge.html. (Double-clicking the file is not enough: the pages load shared files from the site root.)
AI songs work the same with your own key. The Quick presets and Tracker tabs need no key and work offline.
💡 Tips for great songs
Say what the song is about, where it plays and how it should feel: “a cosy rainy-day café song, soft piano and brushed drums”.
Short idea? Press ✨ Improve my words. Want to sing along? Choose My own words and press ✍️ Write them for me, then change any line.
Mark parts of your lyrics with [Verse], [Chorus] and [Bridge] so the AI knows what to repeat.
Try a 30-second clip first, then make the full song once you like the sound.
For video background music, pick No singing and the Steady background or Seamless loop shape.
💰 Costs, rights and rules
With your own key Google charges your account about $0.04 per 30-second clip and $0.08 per full song (see Google’s price list; prices can change). Google refuses requests that copy a real artist’s voice or copyrighted lyrics; describe the style instead (“90s grunge”, not a band name). Check Google’s terms before using songs commercially. Music from the free Quick presets and Tracker tabs is yours with no conditions.
🎵 Free, private and yours. Music is composed right here in your browser from what you describe. No account, no key, no upload, no limit, and every track is yours to use anywhere, even in commercial videos. (Only if you press ✨ Ask AI is your description sent to Google’s free AI.) What can I do with it?

Project
Save your whole session — tracks, patterns, song order, and uploaded sounds — to one file, or load one back later. Undo steps back through your last ~40 edits (Ctrl+Z also works).
Tracks
Each track is either a synth instrument or a sound you upload. The note stepper sets the pitch used when you click a new step — right-click an active step to fine-tune just that one.

Patterns
Song arrangement
Song is empty — add patterns above to build a playback/export order.

Playback uses the song arrangement on the left (or just the current pattern, looped, if the song is empty). Export renders the whole arrangement to a real .wav file.
About Music Forge
Music Forge makes music from a description: an instant instrumental from a mood, a song with singing and lyrics through Google Lyria using your own Gemini key, or your own beat in Tracker mode.
How to use Music Forge
Describe the music (style, mood, speed, length) or tap a quick idea.
Press “Make my music”.
Change it with one tap, then trim, fade and download MP3 or WAV in Finish & use, or send it to another tool.
Which file formats can I download?
Trim, fade and download your track as MP3 or WAV, or send it straight to another MigaBuilder tool.
Is Music Forge free?
Yes. It is free to use, with no account, no watermark and no paywall. The AI uses a free shared allowance; if it is busy or at its daily limit, try again later or add your own Gemini key.
Are my files uploaded?
Only when you use its AI features: then the text you give the AI is sent to Google’s Gemini model through MigaBuilder’s free AI service, or your own Gemini key. Everything else stays in your browser.
Composed in your browser by MigaBuilder’s own open-source code from music rules. No samples of existing songs.
Google’s Lyria model, with your own Gemini key.

Copyright / Content ID
Each track is generated fresh, so there is nothing to be claimed. MigaBuilder claims no rights.
Purely AI-made music may not be protected by copyright in some countries (for example the US), so others might reuse it. Don’t register AI songs with Content ID systems as your own composition.
Sounds you upload to the Beat maker
Only use sounds you recorded yourself or have permission to use.
Never ask for a real artist’s voice or copy a real song; describe the style instead (“90s rock”, not a band name). This is general information, not legal advice. Google’s rules: Gemini API terms and prohibited use policy.
