About Utility Forge
Utility Forge is a private toolbox for developers and anyone who works with data: a JSON viewer, formatter and validator, Base64, URL and JWT decoding, a lorem ipsum and UUID generator, a Unix timestamp converter, CSV ↔ JSON conversion, text file combining and checksums.

Can it show where my JSON is broken?
Yes. The JSON viewer checks the syntax and shows the line and column of the first error, with the broken line highlighted.
Is it safe to decode a JWT here?
Yes. The token is decoded in your browser and never sent anywhere. Decoding only reads the token; it does not check its signature.
What is a SHA-256 checksum for?
It is a fingerprint of a file. If two checksums match, the files are identical, so you can check a download was not changed.
Is Utility Forge free?
Yes. It is free to use, with no account, no watermark and no paywall.
Are my files uploaded?
No. It runs entirely in your browser, so your files and text stay on your device.
