This video shows exactly what is in the Small Business Website Pack, and how to turn it into your own website. Watch it before you buy, so you know what is involved. The first time, plan about an hour. This is the pack in the MigaBuilder shop: five ready made websites, for a café, a tradesperson, a salon, a shop and a consultant. After you buy, you download one zip file. Inside, a start here guide explains every step and links to all five designs. Each design is a complete website that already works on phones. Here is the salon design. It has a home page, a page for your services and prices, an about page, and a contact page. To make it yours, open the free Website Builder on MigaBuilder and load the zip file. You do not need to unzip it. Pick the design you want. Fill in your details once: your business name, phone, email, address, opening hours and colours. Press Load this website. Your details are now on every page. Next, write your own words. Press Edit text on the page, then click any heading, sentence or price and type. Use the tabs to switch pages. Here we change a price on the treatments page. When you are done, press Done editing, then download all the pages as one zip file. Unzip it, and that folder is your finished website. Add your own photos to the images folder: one for the top of the home page, and one for the about page. Until you do, a colour gradient shows instead. Finally, publish it for free. On Netlify Drop you drag the folder onto the page and get a live address in seconds. You can connect your own domain later. So, is it worth it for you? Plan about an hour the first time: ten minutes for your details, twenty to thirty minutes for your own texts and prices, and a little time to publish. Questions
- How do I get the files?
- After paying you're taken to a download page. The link keeps working for 30 days; if you lose it, email us with your receipt number and we'll send it again.
- Do I need any software?
- No. Load the zip into the free MigaBuilder Website Builder, fill in your details once, click any text to change it, and download your finished site. Prefer code? Any text editor works too. The guide and the video above show each click.
- How long does it take?
- About an hour the first time: 10 minutes for your details, 20–30 minutes to write your own texts and prices, and 10–20 minutes to publish. Watch the video first to see if that suits you.
- Who handles payment and tax?
- Stripe is the seller of record. It handles payment, sales tax and VAT, and sends your receipt.
- Can I use it for clients?
- Yes, on as many of your own or your clients' websites as you like. You may not resell or give away the templates themselves.
- What happens to my details?
- Payment runs on Stripe's checkout, a separate website from MigaBuilder. Stripe (as seller of record) and Link process your name, email, address country and card under their own privacy policies. We get your email, country and order so we can deliver the download and answer questions, and we don't use them for anything else.
