About Mind Map

Mind Map is a free mind map maker, flowchart tool and whiteboard in your browser: add ideas with one key, join shapes with arrows, add sticky notes, draw freehand, and download the result as a picture or an outline.

How to use Mind Map

  1. Start from a mind map, a flowchart or an empty whiteboard, or paste a list of notes.
  2. Select an idea and press Tab or Enter to add more, or pick a shape and click the board.
  3. Press “Download PNG” or “Download SVG”, or save the map file to keep working on it later.

Can I make a flowchart too?

Yes. Use the box, decision and start/end shapes and the arrow tool, or start from the flowchart template. Click an arrow twice to write Yes or No on it.

Can I turn a list into a mind map?

Yes. Paste an indented list or bullet points under “Turn a list into a map”, and each indent becomes a branch. You can also download any map as an outline.

Is Mind Map free?

Yes. It is free to use, with no account, no watermark and no paywall.

Are my maps uploaded?

No. Your map is saved only in this browser, and you can download it as a file. Only the optional “Make a map with AI” button sends your topic to an AI service.
